CAN secure BP Schiehallion contractCAN has successfully been awarded a contract with BP in support of the Schiehallion FPSO Water Ballast Tank Accelerated Repair Project (WARP).The scope of work requires installation of structural steelwork in the wing ballast tanks and CAN were successful in the bid due to their expertise in rope access inspection and trades services. CAN will work alongside Marine Technical Limits; who will provide project management and engineering services and Wood Group; who will provide non-rope access trade personnel to deliver the project which is being described as one of the largest construction projects to take place in the North Sea in 2009. Recognised as the first direct contract with BP, the project is a significant achievement for CAN and characteristic of the company's technical capabilities and capacity to deliver largescale projects. >Back to Latest News |
