CAN (Offshore) supervise abseil down Town House in support of veteransIn celebration of Veterans Day parade, CAN (Offshore) supervised an abseil down the Aberdeen Town House in Aberdeen on 28 June 2008. CAN (Offshore) were chosen to supervise the abseil because of the company’s expertise in rope access. CAN is now a global provider of engineering and inspection services, but the company remains a leader in rope and specialist access solutions. Respect to the Veterans was made in dramatic fashion with the abseil of a squad of cadets from the Officers Training Corp (OTC) down the side of the Town House while a smoke grenade detonated and a RAF Nimrod flew overhead.
