CAN's Facilities & Equipment

To date CAN (Offshore) have currently worked across 40 countries and have modern support bases location in the following: Aberdeen, Chesterfield, London (UK) Stavanger (Norway) Abu Dhabi, (UAE) New Orleans, New York, New Jersey, and Houston (USA) and Baku (Azerbaijan) Luanda (Angola).

Our support bases contain modern well equipped office facilities and warehousing in order to support our clients new and ongoing operational requirements, both locally and internationally.

Facilities

CAN Offshore's main office was built six years ago, but given that CAN Offshore's operations have expanded significantly during the last few years, construction was undertaken to increase the office capacity by 60% to 11,000sq ft and warehousing by 30% to include 14,000sq ft. Our headquarters now span 25,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space. The warehouse comprises of a 50ft drive-in radiography bay, a rope access training area, and NDT inspection and rope access equipment.

Equipment

Our warehouse facilities carry equipment ranging from small hand held tools to sizeable lifting gear and plant, some of which is specifically designed for use with rope access.

All equipment is meticulously maintained in modern warehouse facilities, and is subject to a systemised programme of servicing, preventative maintenance and certification, in accordance with our Total Quality Management commitment.

Equipment selection for each job is the responsibility of the Project Manager or Engineer following a review of the client's scope of work. This ensures the right equipment is mobilised for the job, and is fit for purpose.

An ongoing research and development programme combined with our in-house facilities to design and fabricate equipment for special projects, enables CAN (Offshore) to continually extend our capabilities and remain at the forefront of specialist NDT inspection and access technique applications.

‘Kitted’ equipment.

CAN has an unequalled reputation within the Inspection/NDT Industry for our equipment, measured both in terms of level of equipment owned and standard kit. Each piece of equipment such as UT or MPI is kitted up and contained in a robust aluminium transport case. All necessary items to allow for the complete and uninterrupted application of the process are contained within the case.
