Electrical, Fire and Gas
Rapid access and minimal load bearing make our methods ideally suited to electrical installation and maintenance work particularly on critical, delicate electrical, and fire and gas equipment.
CAN's work includes short duration ad-hoc and emergency repair on telecom dishes, lighting circuits and fire and gas detection equipment. For larger workscopes, long term maintenance teams co-ordinate refurbishment of complete lighting and power circuits, cable glanding and tray replacement. Installation of UV and IR detection apparatus inside concrete legs and modules can also be executed.
We also provide assistance to other major contractors on projects complicated by high, difficult access problems.
Our electrical inspection capability provides clients with assessment and condition monitoring of hazardous area fittings, junction boxes and existing circuits prior to any programmed refurbishment work. Our fire and gas capability ranges from nozzle inspection and cleaning to complete system removal and replacement.
We provide:
- Electrical core crews
- ‘Ex’ surveys
- ‘Ex’ Installation & maintenance
- Electrical project management
Routine and unplanned maintenance can be addressed with minimal disruption to operations negating the requirement for lengthy scaffold erection and dismantling whilst further allowing the of multiple area access. CAN Offshore’s Trades Division provide clients with electrical project management, procurement, installations, and commissioning utilising IRATA certified rope access and ‘Comp Ex’ industry recognized electricians.
