Engineering

CAN (Offshore) has access to a wealth of structural, corrosion and pipeline engineers, some of which have Chartered status to complement their hands-on knowledge gained from time spent in the field. Due to their extensive knowledge, we view our professional engineers as an essential part of our Integrity Management approach and the safe operation of our client’s assets.

Our engineers can also undertake additional ad-hoc discipline engineering project work and smaller integrity contracts which do not impact on the resources available for our long term contracts.

Engineering
CAN (Offshore) follow UKAS accredited procedures necessary to undertake the development and review of a risk based inspection programs. We are also a UKAS accredited Type C inspection body which is capable of supplying the complete inspection, engineering, and assessment process required to ensure that Pressure Systems remain fit for purpose.

In addition to providing engineering personnel CAN (Offshore) have the technically capability to project manage the engineering process which includes:
  • Plant/asset database management including data manipulation, formatting, storage and updating of relevant key information
  • Preparation and management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for relevant process systems and functions
  • Provision of quarterly and yearly inspection summary reports for each platform/system
  • Compilation of required workpacks to provide detailed isometrics if required
