Rigging, Lifting & Mechanical Services

Rope access provides a convenient, safe and highly cost effective alternative to scaffolding for mechanical and construction projects both offshore and onshore. If consulted at the planning stage, CAN Engineers may be able to reduce scaffolding and craneage costs utilising the working at height hierarchy of risk to assess the most appropriate method of access.

Operations such as drilling, bolting, welding and cutting are undertaken utilising rope access or secondary access systems. CAN’s secondary access offer rope access technicians a stable working platform to enhance safety and productivity whilst engaged in rope access.

Services offered include:
  • Welding & Burning
  • Piping & Steelwork Installation
  • Rigging and Lifting
  • Bolt Torquing
  • Damage Repairs
  • Installation Cladding

All projects are engineered by our Aberdeen based projects engineers delivering workpacks and hands on experience to our clients.
