Senior/Pipeline Engineer (Ref: 6B427WEB)
We are looking to recruit a Senior Pipeline Engineer to provide support in the maintenance and update of all relevant Pipeline strategies and documentation on a client specific project.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Degree in a relevant technical or science discipline.
- Chartered/Incorporated status desirable
- Extensive experience in pipeline related activity and technical data handling systems.
- Knowledge and experience of the relevant legislation and its onshore and offshore influences.
- Ability to use initiative and direct and guide other team members.
- Strong interpersonal/client facing skills
- Report writing experience with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to use bespoke databases
- Ability to travel offshore if/when required
Duties include:
- Responsibility for inspection and recommending remedial maintenance activities relating to client specific pipeline systems.
- The enactment of all pipeline engineering, inspection and monitoring activities to maintain the integrity of the client specific pipeline systems,
- Support the Pipeline Engineers in the review and interpretation of inspection sub-contractors information, workscopes and procedures.
- Provide support in the preparation and compilation of all pipeline inspection work scopes.
- The delivery of monthly and annual reports for key pipeline activities.
- Ensure continued fitness for purpose of pipelines, risers and ESDV’s.
