Senior Structural Engineer (Ref No: 6B255WEB)

We are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to manage the provision of Structural Integrity Engineering Services over a variety of contracts.

Candidates should possess the following:
  • Degree in a relevant technical or science discipline.
  • Extensive experience in steel jacket and offshore topside and subsea structural integrity management.
  • Corrosion awareness.
  • Extensive experience in technical data handling systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of the relevant legislation and its onshore and offshore influences.
  • Ability to use initiative and direct and guide other team members.
  • Strong interpersonal/client facing skills.
  • Report writing experience with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to use bespoke databases.
  • Ability to travel offshore if/when required.
Duties include:
  • Responsibility for the preparation and complication of all structural inspection workpacks and workscopes.
  • The review and interpretation of structural inspection information, workscopes and procedures.
  • Ensuring that the structural database (COABIS) is maintained and populated accordingly.
  • Carry out first assessment of reported defects, report any anomalies and report accordingly.
  • Preparation of monthly and annual reports for key structural engineering activities.
