Non-Intrusive Inspections
ENGTEQ, supported by the wider CAN Group, is uniquely placed to support international clients with a fully integrated, turnkey Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) service offering.
This spans initial NII assessment & scope creation (ENGTEQ), NII scope enactment (CAN ANDT), post enactment data review, assessment and statistical analysis with engineering recommendations provided to ensure continued compliance and fitness for service of clients’ pressure systems.
CAN Group’s NII solutions ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements, with all scope elements meeting the requirements of industry recommended practice, HOIS-RP-103.
Corrosion & Risk Based Inspection Assessments
UKAS accredited procedures are upheld as essential for managing the development, assessment, and review of corrosion and risk-based inspection programs.
Experience in managing corrosion and risk-based inspection assessments at all stages of asset lifecycles, sees ENGTEQ tailor the output based on asset operational phase to optimise activities, ensuring cost and resource efficiencies.
Structural Inspection & Engineering
Guided by safety case strategies, ENGTEQ’s Structural Engineering team generate survey plans detailing all inspection requirements to ensure suitable data pertaining to critical asset infrastructure is gathered for detailed engineering review.
Post data gathering by CAN’s Inspection Business Stream, ENGTEQ Structural Engineering colleagues interrogate and assess the data, providing Clients with detailed reporting and analysis paramount to ensuring ongoing asset structural integrity.
Pressure Systems Management
ENGTEQ provide the complete inspection, engineering and assessment processes required to ensure and maintain client pressure systems fitness for service.
This robust service is unpinned by best-in-class process and procedures as an ISO 17020 accredited Type C In-service Inspection Body.
Corrosion & Risk Based Inspection Assessments
ENGTEQ’s pipeline and subsea groups work closely with corrosion engineers to ensure the integrity of pipelines and subsea structures through active management of risk and assessment of inspection data to ensure ongoing fitness for service. The group collaborates with internal business units (Remote Inspection Solutions) for data capture, and assesses, interrogates and analyses inspection and data output to actively manage the integrity of our clients’ subsea infrastructure.
Statistical Analysis of Inspection Data
Integrity Management activities typically generate large data sets that are best assessed using a statistical approach.
This service line has been adopted by the majority of ENGTEQ clients adopting an NII methodology, promoting a focused approach towards inspection data gathering, reducing site-based working times and associated risk.
