We share personal data only where necessary: with IT, hosting and service providers acting on our instructions (including our website host, Microsoft Azure, and our recruitment-platform provider); with Google, as our processor, where you consent to analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, configured not to store IP addresses); with professional advisers; with clients or partners where relevant to a project or role, with appropriate safeguards; and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
Some providers, including Google, may process personal data outside the UK (including in the United States). Where they do, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — for Google, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, then delete or anonymise it, in line with our internal retention schedule.
You have the right to access your data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to erasure; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where we rely on it (including analytics consent, via our Cookie settings). To exercise any of these, contact dataprotection@cangroup.net. We will respond within one month.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. [CAN Group holds Cyber Essentials certification.] No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and have procedures to handle any suspected breach.
