CAN Group Awarded Inspection Contract with Leading North Sea Operator
CAN Group is delighted to announce that it has recently secured a 5-year contract with a leading North Sea Oil & Gas Operator.
The contract, which was awarded following a competitive tendering process, is for the provision of Inspection Services which will continue to be led by CAN Group’s market-leading Inspection business stream, having successfully delivered both Integrity Management and Inspection Services for this operator since 2001.
Building on this long-standing relationship, the new contract will focus heavily on driving continued efficiency and assurance, harnessing digitalisation and innovative technology to get the best solution for its client’s asset integrity needs. Pivotal to the award was the technical expertise and competence of CAN’s project delivery team, in-house Technical Authorities and Subject Matter Experts.
The contract requires CAN Group to manage the end-to-end inspection delivery using both conventional and advanced inspection techniques whilst streamlining interfaces and inspection management processes, allowing the client to maintain its long-term focus on strategy, risk management and production efficiency across its asset portfolio.
This milestone award provides a number of opportunities for career progression and development across all elements of the contract, both directly and indirectly, providing certainty over the initial term and potential extension options. Details of these exciting opportunities will be available on CAN Group’s website.
Neil Rose, Inspection Services Director, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded this new contract which will allow CAN to continue to build on this long-term relationship, having successfully supported and delivered Inspection services for our client for over twenty years. Our commitment to safety and operational excellence, whilst delivering a value-centric service to our clients, strengthens CAN Group’s position as a first-class asset integrity service provider.
Thank you to everyone involved throughout the tender process and to our existing project personnel, both on and offshore, for their ongoing commitment in ensuring CAN continues to deliver safe and reliable services across the business.
We look forward to driving efficiency and assurance whilst continuing to add value and advance the field of inspection; with safety, certainty and integrity at the forefront of all operations.”
This latest news comes shortly after CAN Group secured the award of substantial contracts with a leading transportation and storage company for petroleum and liquid products for the provision of Pipework Data Gathering and Visual Testing services within the UK and Europe.
CAN’s extensive service range offers individually tailored solutions via one contractor, which complements the entire asset life cycle to ensure asset reliability and support the extension of late-life infrastructure.
