New Year, New Contract – CAN Group Secures Significant Contract Award for Integrity and Inspection Services

CAN Group is delighted to announce the award of a significant contract with a leading oil and gas operator for the provision of Integrity Management and Inspection Services.

The newly retained contract, which was awarded following a competitive tendering process, will see ENGTEQ, CAN Group’s Engineering business stream, continue to provide a full suite of Integrity Management services and CAN Group’s market-leading Inspection business stream deliver a full range of Inspection, NDT services and Advanced NDT technologies across a portfolio of onshore and offshore assets in the UK North Sea.

Having safely and successfully delivered the contract since 2019, CAN Group will continue to provide a comprehensive range of services to meet the specific needs of its client’s diverse portfolio of Upstream and Decommissioning assets. This includes conventional and Advanced NDT and innovative technologies to provide a solutions-based approach tailored to each asset’s needs.

Along with its strong global safety record, CAN’s commitment to efficiency improvements were a key driver for this contract award which will see the adoption of remote inspection technologies integrating with fully digitised in-house Integrity Management processes via ENGAGE, CAN Group’s data intelligence solution that supports integrity needs across the full asset life cycle.

Innes Walker, Group Director commented: “We are delighted to share this news which is an excellent, and very positive, start to the new year. We have successfully supported and delivered Inspection and Integrity services for our client since 2019 and we are proud to continue to build and strengthen our relationship through the award of this contract.

“The strength of our services continues to be underpinned by our excellent safety record, the hard work and efforts of our highly-skilled teams and our commitment to understand and meet each of our client’s specific needs. We look forward to further enhancing our existing service provision, continuing to add value and advancing the field of inspection.”

This latest news comes shortly after CAN Group announced a number of senior promotions and role changes across its business, strengthening its management team as the company continues to drive forward plans for growth both in the UK and internationally.
