We are seeking an experienced Cathodic Protection Engineer to support Asset Integrity services across offshore and onshore structures, pipelines and above-ground storage tanks, based in Angola, working on a 28/28 rotational basis.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role.
- Engineering or science-based degree and recognised CP certification: AMPP/ NACE Cathodic Protection Specialist – CP4.
- Demonstratable experience with sacrificial anode and impressed current CP systems across relevant offshore and onshore assets.
- Strong capability in data interpretation, system assessment, troubleshooting and technical reporting.
- Clear communication, analytical skills and attention to quality.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Provide specialist Cathodic Protection (CP) engineering expertise and technical support for offshore structures, offshore and onshore pipelines, onshore structures and above-ground storage tanks.
- Assess, monitor and troubleshoot sacrificial anode and impressed current CP systems.
- Review survey and monitoring data, identify performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the design, optimisation, life extension and replacement of CP systems.
- Define inspection and survey requirements and provide field engineering support.
- Prepare clear technical reports and provide guidance to clients, contractors and junior team members.
