Our Remote Inspection Solutions team was proud to support an important milestone for the world’s first purpose-built offshore platform dedicated to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) for industrial decarbonisation.
Using advanced remote inspection technology, team CAN provided Unmanned Aerial Vehicle services throughout every stage of the jacket and topsides installation, delivering a safe and efficient way to visually document this major project milestone. The footage captured provides a valuable record of the scale of this project, along with showcasing the technical expertise and complexities involved with CCS infrastructure.
Commenting on this workscope, Leum Renney, CAN’s Remote Inspection Services Lead, said: “Thank you to Eni UK and Liverpool Bay CCS for the opportunity to support this flagship project. It was great to see so many companies working collaboratively to deliver the safe, and very successful technical installation of the Douglas CCS jacket and topsides. We’re proud to have played a part in this project, and to witness the developments within the Liverpool Bay area in support of the energy transition.”
