CAN Group Joins Response For PPE Donation

CAN Group has donated a number of key personal protective equipment (PPE) items to frontline healthcare professionals in Aberdeen to help fight the battle against COVID19.

The donation of 2,600 PPE items including Protective Overalls, Safety Glasses and Nitrile Gloves will be distributed across the city as demand of these items remains critical to protect the health, safety and well-being of key healthcare workers.

CAN Group’s QHSE & Compliance Manager, Gillian Farrell, commented: “Supporting our people and local communities through these challenging times is significantly important to us. We strive to create a safer environment for everyone to work in and we are committed to supporting the incredible work that our healthcare professionals are currently faced with. We hope our contribution will help to ensure that our healthcare workers are fully protected as they continue to serve on the frontline.

“It’s heartwarming to see so many local businesses and communities come together to show their support through various acts of kindness during these unprecedented times, something which can also help to improve emotional wellbeing as well as keeping everyone safe.”
