We are recruiting for the a Site Health, Safety & Quality Advisor to based in Valero Refinery, Pembroke. Position: Site Health, Safety & Quality Advisor
Status: Full Term Contract.
Salary: Competitive
Full-time: 9 Day Fortnight
Start: October 2026
Candidates should possess the following skills;
Essential
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
- Internal Auditor qualification and be experienced in conducting audits (preferable)
- Professional Member (ie IOSH)
- Lead incident investigations through to tracking and implementing improvement actions
- Knowledge of KPI’s identifying improvements and implementing pro-active changes
- Good knowledge of policy and procedures and implementing changes in the workforce
- Excellent presentation skills to large workforce and Client
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and Computer systems
- Confident in field engagements / conversations / toolbox talks and auditing to promote a strong safety culture
- Practical background in supporting QHS&E or compliance programmes within an industrial site
- Strong understanding of high consequence activities on a Tier 1 COMAH site
- Min 3 years’ experience in oil and gas and/or similar site role
- Knowledge in NDT / Rope access (preferred, but not essential)
- Knowledge in IPS (incident prevention system) (Preferable)
- Candidates must be within a commutable distance
