Site Health, Safety & Quality Advisor

We are recruiting for the a Site Health, Safety & Quality Advisor to based in Valero Refinery, Pembroke. Position: Site Health, Safety & Quality Advisor
Status: Full Term Contract.
Salary: Competitive
Full-time: 9 Day Fortnight
Start: October 2026

Candidates should possess the following skills;
Essential

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
  •  Internal Auditor qualification and be experienced in conducting audits (preferable)
  • Professional Member (ie IOSH)
  • Lead incident investigations through to tracking and implementing improvement actions
  • Knowledge of KPI’s identifying improvements and implementing pro-active changes
  • Good knowledge of policy and procedures and implementing changes in the workforce
  • Excellent presentation skills to large workforce and Client
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and Computer systems
  • Confident in field engagements / conversations / toolbox talks and auditing to promote a strong safety culture
  • Practical background in supporting QHS&E or compliance programmes within an industrial site
  • Strong understanding of high consequence activities on a Tier 1 COMAH site
  • Min 3 years’ experience in oil and gas and/or similar site role
  • Knowledge in NDT / Rope access (preferred, but not essential)
  • Knowledge in IPS (incident prevention system) (Preferable)
  • Candidates must be within a commutable distance
