MRR Execution Coordinator

We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals to join our Make Ready for Retirement Team as part of an ongoing project supporting the operational readiness and shutdown planning of offshore assets targeted for decommissioning. The position is based in Cabinda, Angola on a 5 week on 5 weeks off rotational basis.

The Make-Ready For Retirement (MRR) Execution Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the early preparation and execution stages of offshore asset retirement and decommissioning. Beyond technical readiness, the MRR Coordinator serves as a focal point for cross-discipline communication and control, ensuring that work permits, hazard assessments, and documentation are correctly managed and closed out. Supporting the Asset Retirement Programme by maintaining progress visibility, ensuring safe and environmentally compliant execution, and reporting status to Turnaround Events Manager and regulatory authorities. The role also contributes to lessons-learned capture and continuous improvement for future make-ready and decommissioning campaigns. Through strong organisational skills and multi-disciplinary awareness, the MRR Coordinator provides the operational backbone that enables efficient, safe and compliant transition of aging offshore infrastructure toward final retirement.

Role requires a strong background in offshore oil & gas shutdowns, construction, fabrication, maintenance, or decommissioning, with proven experience coordinating multi-discipline activities across these domains.
