Assuring Continued Compliance to ISO 17020

It's been an exceptionally busy time at CAN HQ as we welcomed a number of UKAS Assessors, as part of their annual office visit, to assure our continued compliance to ISO 17020 requirements. Team CAN colleagues from across the business participated in the equivalent of 12 audits over 4 days, a significant commitment whilst continuing to work behind the scenes to deliver a seamless service to our clients. 

We’re delighted to have received exceptional feedback from the auditors about both CAN as an approved Inspection Body, and team CAN colleagues involved during the week. The audits covered:
 

  • Technical Witness at our client’s onshore site, auditing Eddy Current, Pulsed Eddy Current & Dye Penetrant Inspection
  • Technical Witness at CAN HQ, auditing Phased Array, TOFD & Ultrasonic
  • Office assessment with 4 auditors looking at different areas such as our Management Systems; NDT/ANDT & Pressure Systems
  • Technical Witness at CAN HQ auditing IRIS & RAD X-Ray by Digital Radiography
