CAN-Do Work Experience: A Spotlight on Anna Porter  

Want to know more about work experience opportunities at CAN? Anna Porter, who is currently studying International Business Management at Heriot-Watt University, joined #teamCAN this summer to support our field recruitment team in the role of Recruitment Operations Administrator. As Anna embarks on her next adventure, Anna shares details of her work experience at CAN and the benefits this will have on her future career. 

Work Experience Route

"This summer, I had the opportunity to work as a Recruitment Operations Administrator at CAN Group, a role that provided invaluable practical experience complementing my studies in International Business Management at Heriot-Watt University. I chose this course because of the diverse range of modules it offers and the exciting opportunity to study abroad, which I am about to embark on as I head to Malaysia. 

My Journey at CAN

At CAN, my responsibilities included uploading marketing materials to LinkedIn and connecting with technicians to staff various job openings, which enhanced my understanding of digital marketing and networking. Additionally, I supported the operations department by managing onshore and offshore timesheets, a task that honed my attention to detail and organisational skills.

This experience has not only solidified my interest in business operations but also equipped me with new skills in recruitment and time management, which will be beneficial in my future career."
