Turning Integrity Insights into Action

Asset integrity professionals are consistently surrounded by data; Volumes of Inspection records (UT, RAD, CVI, GVI ETC), Risk Based Assessments (RBAs), fabric maintenance findings, engineering drawings and historical reports that (may or may not) already exist from heritage asset owner organisations. The real and ongoing challenge is assimilating this data and transforming it into output and actions that drive safe, efficient and effective asset management.

This is where CAN Group and Envizion’s collaboration comes to the fore, integrating smart digital twin workflows into inspection, integrity and operational processes to unlock greater value from existing data and to streamline the integrity process going forward.

With four decades of experience delivering inspection, asset integrity and trade related solutions, CAN Group’s services help their clients understand asset condition, manage risk and ensure critical maintenance activities are identified for action. Envizion’s intelligent digital twin platform, AVA, provides visual asset context, connected workflows and decision support.

Together, these capabilities help bring asset integrity data to life by bringing inspection findings captured via CANtab, CAN Group’s tablet reporting solution, RBAs, historical inspection data, engineering data, drawings, 3D models, laser scans and 360 imagery together around the asset itself, in a single environment.

This supports a clearer and more complete understanding of asset health, helping engineers prioritise the areas that have the greatest impact on safety, reliability and production performance.

This collaborative workflow also helps bridge the gap between integrity assessment and execution. Inspection findings, anomalies and fabric maintenance issues can be developed into inspection and repair scopes and workpacks, supported by the engineering, operational and visual information required to make informed decisions.

Throughout the process, integrity stakeholders  maintain visibility of asset health, active anomalies, work status and historical condition, creating an integrity management cycle that supports assessment, prioritisation, execution and continuous improvement.

By opening trusted asset information to engineering, maintenance, operations, fabric maintenance, planning and turnaround teams, the workflow extends the value of every inspection, survey and asset record captured.

The result?
Faster access to accurate information, improved decision-making, more effective risk prioritisation and the timely identification and execution of critical inspection, repair and fabric maintenance activities.
