Project Lead (In-Country Angola)

 

The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide. 

CAN West Africa (CWA) has an opportunity for a Project Lead to join our contract delivery team in Angola working at 28 day on / 28-day rotation. It is anticipated that when in-country the Project Lead will predominantly be based at Client Site, however occasional working in CAN’s Luanda Office is anticipated.

We are seeking a candidate that has a proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of asset integrity related term contracts and projects.

The primary responsibility shall be to ensure that contracts and projects allocated are organised and fully supported so that they operate safely, provide a cost effective, reliable, quality service to customers that satisfies their budget and workscope requirements in accordance with company systems, procedures and processes. 

The succesful candidate will have: 

  • Demonstrable experience in a role leading contracts / projects
  • Experience leading a project team including Project Administration and Project
  • Engineering, and wider asset integrity engineering functions.
  • The ability to fully interpret customer work-scopes
  • Experience working with asset integrity related disciplines / activities
  • Experience managing contract budgets including cost tracking, forecasting and planning
  • Ability to drive contract performance including tracking and reporting of contract KPI’s
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanding environment
  • Good presentation and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible in approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and results driven
