Technical Assistant

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant to join the Team at our ENGTEQ Offices.

The role is to provide technical administrative assistance as part of our Technical Services department.

 

Requirements

Candidates should possess the following:

English and Mathematics to National 4 / equivalent or higher (essential)

Proficient understanding of PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project Planner (essential)

Experience in an Administrative role

Oil and Gas industry experience in a similar role (desirable although not essential)

Experience of using databases (preferred)

Good numerical and analytical skills (essential)

Experience in a technical environment with P&ID’s, Isometrics, Structural drawings (desirable)

Good organisational and time management skills

 

Duties include:

Support the Technical Services Team by providing general administration and technical assistance to the team leads and job responsible engineers.

Preparation of Integrity work packs for piping, structures and vessels.

Marking up structural and piping technical drawings, marking test points and P&IDs for inspection action.

Data input using various integrity software packages

General filing and administration duties as required
