This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team delivering critical shutdown and turnaround activities in a dynamic offshore environment.

We’re currently hiring for the following key roles across planning, engineering, field coordination, and operational execution. Key Job Responsibilities (KJRs’) are noted below:

Turnaround Execution Coordinators (6B1468):

The Turnaround Execution Lead will act as the focal point for the planning and execution of assigned shutdowns (SDs), driving performance, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring all deliverables are aligned with stakeholder expectations and project milestones. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in shutdown planning and execution within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution efforts for assigned turnaround events, acting as the key interface with the TA Event Manager.
  • Chair regular Core Team meetings and facilitate the development of Phase 2 planning documents (e.g., milestone schedules, stakeholder plans, resource forecasts).
  • Oversee project engineering deliverables including work pack creation and materials procurement.
  • Monitor and report on milestones, KPIs, and deliverables, raising risks and mitigation plans as required.
  • Participate in Shutdown DRB (Decision Review Board) meetings and present relevant updates.
  • Lead daily execution update meetings and ensure daily reporting is completed.
  • Coordinate with field execution teams to track progress, verify resource allocation, and ensure readiness of work packs and SD schedules.
  • Manage scope change processes and AFE supplement development with the TA Cost Engineer.
  • Oversee training, safety plans, and contractor safety engagement in collaboration with HES teams.
  • Serve as Incident Reporting liaison and ensure compliance with safety and certification requirements.
  • Facilitate post-shutdown reviews, document lessons learned, and produce the final Post-TA Report with recommendations.
  • Approve the Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) and certify mechanical completion of all work list items.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive turnaround experience, in Turnaround Coordination or Shutdown Planning & Execution. Including full lifecycle responsibility from planning through to execution and close-out, ideally in offshore or remote environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in chairing cross-functional Core Teams, aligning stakeholders, and managing competing priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and locations.
  • Strong background in offshore operations, maintenance, or project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of shutdown scope development, schedule management, and field execution—including direct coordination of construction crews, fabrication vendors, and utility support functions.
  • Technical competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work packs, MTOs, and QA/QC documentation, with a strong understanding of process safety, mechanical completion, and PSSR requirements.
  • Experienced in fabrication management, including oversight of delivery schedules, material tracking, vendor interfacing, and support for field engineering challenges during pre- and post-shutdown phases.
  • Thorough understanding of utility integration and the sequencing of utility isolations, tie-ins, and system restoration in line with project milestones and safety requirements.
  • Skilled in reporting and governance, including milestone tracking, KPI analysis, risk management, incident response coordination, and post-turnaround reviews.
  • Degree or HNC/HND qualified in an engineering-related discipline is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous international field work experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of shutdown scope development, prioritisation, and field execution support.
  • Team player with the ability to work offshore as required and thrive in a collaborative, safety-first culture.
